From makeup artist Jake Bailey:
For tonight’s show we did a bronze smoky eye, big lashes, tawny cheeks and a rosy glossy lip. I started by lining her eyes with Covergirl liquiline blast eyeliner in black. I then smudged the liner with a small cone shaped eye shadow brush to soften the edges. I smudged even more liner up onto her eyelid and layered “bronze” shadow from M.A.C on top all over the lid and into the crease. I used a strip of false lashes from Ardell called “wispies” and coated them with Diorshow mascara. The blush was Covergirl’s cheekers blush in “Sierra sands” I lined her lips with a rose colored liner from Inglot in shade #858 and over that applied Dior addict ultra gloss flash #856 for extra shine.

From hair stylist Mark Townsend:
I loved the color and silhouette of Christina’s Roland Mouret dress so much, it was such a great fashion moment with a touch of sexiness so I wanted her hair to have the same feeling. I started by spraying Sally Hershberger Super Keratin Spray into Christina’s damp hair to soften and condition her hair before blowdrying with a large round brush. To give her hair body and movement, I took 4 inch sections of hair and sprayed Dove Style+Care Flexible Hold Hairspray on each section and then used a large 2 inch curling iron to give ER hair a very soft wave. I finished by taking a  small amount of Malin+Goetz Hair Pomade in my hands and rubbed my hands together to warm up the product and then “raked” my fingers through her hair for separation and piecey-ness.

From stylist Simone Harouche:
Christina was drawn to the Roland Mouret dress because of the amazing fit , which is so sleek and modern. She also loved the color of the dress, and was really drawn to the marigold shade. We thought the color of the dress would really pop against the red judges chair. I paired this look with amazing studded crystal pigalle louboutins and loree Rodkin jewelry.

Makeup Artist Jake Bailey:
Christina’s schoolgirl look was the perfect mix of sweet and sexy so I went for a sexy eye and a sweet lip color. I worked a waterproof black liner into the upper lashline and smudged it with my fingertip to soften and blend.  If you really want to define your eyes it important to work the liner Into the base of the lashes rather than just above them. I applied a shimmery charcoal shadow from YSL called “stone grey” all over the lid and into the crease using a damp eyeshadow brush. I applied two sets of strip lashes. The first one was Red Cherry’s 747L for length and the second pair (for volume)were Demi wispies from Ardell. After a generous coat of mascara I finished the eye by lining the lower waterline and lashline with a liner called “amethyst” from CoverGirl’s Queen collection. I created the lip color by first lining and filling in the entire lip with Inglot’s soft precision lip liner #60 and coated it with DiorKiss lip gloss in “Hawaii coco” Having set her complexion with YSL’s semi loose powder in “Natural radiance” I finished the look with two of my regular favorites…Nars Bronzer in “casino” under her cheekbones and Benefit’s “Coralista” blush on the apples of the cheeks.

Everyday with Christina Aguilera is like the most fun day you could imagine but when her super-stylist Simone Harouche told me she was coming up with a “naughty school-girl” look for tonight’s live elimination show, my creative juices started to really flow, and we came up with a curly hairstyle that is both sweet and sexy! This is such a fun hairstyle that is actually easy to recreate; I started by applying a large dollop of Dove Style+Care Nourishing Curls Whipped Cream Mousse to her damp hair and then scrunched the hair with my hands while I blow dried (no round brush required!) Christina’s hair is naturally pretty straight so tonight I took 2 inch sections of hair and sprayed each section with Dove Flexible Hold Hairspray and then wrapped the hair around a 1 inch curling iron from roots to ends to keep the curls in place. After all the hair was curled I then like to take each curl and pull it apart with my fingers, this trick makes all the curls separated and different sizes but keeps the shape of the curl. To give her hair a cool texture and keep it in place I sprayed Sally Hershberger Major Body Volumizing Style Boost all over, it’s like a hair spray and a texturizer in one. To finish I took about a 4 inch section of hair on her front hairline and wrapped the hair around 3 fingers to create a barrel curl and used 4 Bobby pins to secure the curl, it was the perfect finishing touch!

Stylist Simone Harouche:
For Tuesday’s live show we thought it would be really fun to play a little game of dress up! Christina and I love a tight form fitting sweater ala 1950’s pin ups, so that was the basis for our inspiration. I chose a Comme des Garçon’s top and sweater, with a Burberry plaid pleated skirt, Wolford tights and Fendi Mary Jane heels. For jewels Christina wore a custom made knuckle duster by Stephen Webster and earrings by Loree Rodkin.

Never one to tone it down, Christina loves to have fun and play with her looks. We love this look because it’s playful and sexy at the same time. Hope you guys liked it! xo
