For months there has been educated speculation that Adele would sing the next James Bond theme. Today we got confirmation that she is, indeed, the voice of “Skyfall.”
As the Associated Press noted, the Grammy Award-winning mom-to-betweeted a photo of herself holding the sheet music for the signature tune from the upcoming Daniel Craig film, which is beginning to amp up its publicity efforts in advance of “Skyfall’s” Nov. 9 release.

Even though sadly she has been taken away on July 23, 2011 from us her music still lives on. I loved her type of music since she started. I actually tried out with the song ‘Rehab’ for the show Glee. My favorites are ‘Rehab’ & ‘Valerie’. Her Album Back to Black led to six Grammy Award nominations and five wins, tying the then record for the most wins by a female artist in a single night, and made Winehouse the first British female to win five Grammys, including three of the “Big Four“: Best New Artist, Record of the Year and Song of the Year. Her album Back to Black subsequently became the UK’s best selling album of the 21st century. In 2012, Winehouse was listed at number 26 on VH1‘s 100 Greatest Women In Music.

Jessie J, and English singer and songwriter, mostly known for her song for ‘Domino’ and also her other single ‘Price Tag’ with B.O.B. “Domino” spawned more international chart success, peaking at number 6 on the BillboardHot 100 in the US, and becoming her second UK number one. She first saw fame when she began writing tracks for Chris Brown and Miley Cyrus. The most successful track she co-wrote is Cyrus’s “Party in the USA“, which gained Platinum certification in many countries. She is also a former classmate of Adele and Leona Lewis. My favorite songs of hers are ‘Domino’ & ‘Casualty of Love’.
ED SHEERAN
Edward Christopher “Ed” Sheeran (born 17 February 1991) is an Englishsinger, songwriter, and producer. Born in Halifax, before moving to Framlingham. He learned to play guitar and started writing songs at a young age. He began recording in 2005 and moved toLondon in 2008 to pursue a music career. In 2009, inspired by James Morrison, he played 312 gigs. In early 2011, he released his eighth independent extended play, No. 5 Collaborations Project; with it, Sheeran gained mainstream attention. Three months later, Sheeran was signed to Asylum / Atlantic Records.

And lasty, but not least Adele…What a magnificent singer. I’m loving the fact she is down to earth and doesn’t let fame get to her head. Adele, an English singer-songwriter and musician, was offered a recording contract from XL Recordings after a friend posted her demo on MySpace in 2006. Her debut album, 19, was released in 2008 to much commercial and critical success. The album is certified four times platinum in the UK, and double platinum in the US. Adele released her second album, 21, in early 2011. The album was well received critically and surpassed the success of her debut. 21 helped Adele earn six Grammy Awards in 2012 including Album of the Year, equalling the record for most Grammy Awards won by a female artist in one night. The album has also helped her receive numerous other awards, including two Brit Awards and three American Music Awards. The album has been certified 16 times platinum in the UK; in the US the album has held the top position longer than any other album since 1985.
